• A member of the Bible Class asked Dr Aw to comment on a talk she heard. The speaker was of the opinion that the punishment of sinners in hell is for a limited time, after which their very existence is destroyed. The essay "Thoughts on Annihilationism" is Dr Aw's response and he requested for its inclusion on this site among his other essays (Aug 17)
• Dr Aw was asked to comment on a letter which expressed an opinion that the books of Esther and Jonah could be 'fiction in a historical setting'. As this view has a bearing on the truthfulness of Scripture he has requested that his comments be available for others to read: Comments, Oct 15
